We offer therapeutic care to people affected by political violence and we prepare expert reports as a tool for defence and denunciation. We are specialists in the application of the Istanbul Protocol.

Expertise

We prepare medical-psychological expert opinions, always ensuring the psycho-legal accompaniment of individuals.

We are specialists in the application of the Istanbul Protocol, the international manual for the legal and forensic documentation of alleged cases of ill-treatment or torture.

Our centre provides specialised therapeutic care for victims of trauma, crisis or bereavement from a psychosocial, cross-cultural, systemic and gender perspective, working to enable people affected by violence to recover their coping mechanisms.
We study contemporary torture and other human rights violations related to our work. We investigate violence and its consequences.
At Centro Sira we offer training spaces, both face-to-face and virtual, aimed at professionals and institutions that work with victims of torture, ill-treatment or structural violence. Our clinical, expert and community experience allows us to design courses adapted to the realities of work in the field.
At the Sira Centre we are launching our new virtual training offer together with the Community Action Group (GAC), aimed at professionals and people interested in deepening their understanding of the psychosocial approach to violence, human rights and the reparation of harm.

We offer online supervision groups for working professionals in psychology and psychiatry. We want to build with you a collective space for reflection and learning, aimed at strengthening your intervention, broadening your clinical perspective and boosting your professional development.
